Meet the Director
Shelly Gray has been dedicated to early childhood education since her early twenties as the owner and operator of a family childcare program. She holds a master’s degree in Family Studies and Child Care Administration and has taught in the Family & Consumer Sciences Department at California State University, Northridge. Her teaching experience includes courses such as Child Development, Parenting, Child, Family & Community, and Child Care Administration.
Shelly is a California Credentialed Preschool Program Director and a Certified Family Life Educator. Her philosophy blends years of hands-on experience with a strong foundation in child development theory. She is committed to partnering with families to provide nurturing, high quality care for children ages two months to eight years. Shelly’s goal is to support children’s growth beyond developmental norms through both play and guided instruction, with a focus on preparing preschoolers for kindergarten by fostering early literacy and foundational math skills.
